Vishal being let down by various associations?

Vishal, the new President of the Tamil Nadu Film Producers Council had announced a strike against piracy. However, it looks like he’s not getting the kind of support he expected.
Recently, the Tamil Film Chamber of Commerce, under Abirami Ramanathan, had a meeting. This was to discuss on the film industry shut down from May 30th. Their collective decision was that they won’t be taking part in this strike. The press statement reads, “When we met our Chief Minister a few days back and told him about the problems in the film industry, he immediately appointed officials to look into the issue and solve it. Hence, we would not participate in any of the strikes, including the strike that is being planned to happen from May 30th. Earlier, Tamil Nadu Film Distributors Association and Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners Association have announced that they won’t participate in the strike. Now, we would also not be part of this strike.”
The committee meeting was attended by leading members of the union, including Abirami Ramanathan, Kalaippuli S.Thanu, Sarathkumar, Anbuchezhian, Cheran, Radharavi, J.K.Ritheesh, K.Muraleedharan, T.Siva, A.L.Alagappan, T.G.Thyagarajan, Chithra Lakshmanan, Dhananjayan, Pyramid Natrajan and others.
